Ghost Train of
Bennett Lake was
inspired by the
Beauty of Bennett
Lake and the vision
of Engine 51 in
her prime.
White Pass Engine #51 is the
locomotive that
actually built the
railroad in 1899.
Rebuilt in 1900 and
re-named Engine
No. 51, she
operated as a
passenger and freight
train on the
White Pass and Yukon
Route Railway
between Skagway
and Whitehorse
from 1901 to 1919.
